In this season of laughter and Jubilee, we are looking at a series of faith teachings by Pastor George "Living & Walking in Supernatural Victory". We are starting by exploring a subject called "Life & Your Mind" Your mind is Crucial! If you want to pre-assess your victory you can do it by checking with your mind. Ignoring your mind is ignoring victory and success in life!
(1) The Value Behind Your Mind (Your mind determines your height in life)
In the school of faith, living and walking in victory starts with your mind. You won’t live better than you think. A sound mind by general statistics has a great potential to deliver remarkable results.
Hence, the devil before dragging you to living in defeat, he will start by interfering with your mind. When you refuse to give him room in your mind (the devil), he will eventually leave you for a season. Most of the unreasonable divorces that people suffer from time to time often start with one small wrong thought planted In their minds by the devil. Please, take heed of suggestions in your mind that contradict the will of God they will spoil your life and destiny.
Likewise, there was a time in the New Testament when the disciple Peter permitted wrong thoughts to control his life, hence contradicting God's perfect will. When wrong thoughts are controlling your life you will be in a position to contradict God's perfect will in your life. Hence, we see Jesus in Matthew 16:23 saying "Get thee behind me, Satan" What does that mean?
It means that when the devil tries to corrupt your mind like he did with Peter, you have divine authority to rebuke and curse him eternally in Jesus name! Did you know that you have abundant life and authority to subdue negative moments and thoughts in your life (see John 10:10; Luke 10:19).
If you want to keep the devil away from your life, family, business, marriage and ministry; then start by keeping him away from your mind. Renewing your mind is the gateway to keeping the devil away from your life and destiny. It is also the gateway to living and walking in supernatural victory. You won’t progress beyond your mindset.
Likewise, you can’t think sick all the times, and expect God to heal you; you can’t think poor and expect God to prosper you; you can’t think condemned in life and expect to rise above defeat. You can’t think inferior in life and expect God to elevate you with double honor.
A renewed mind attracts the presence of God, and allows God to fulfill his perfect will in your life.No wonder the day when you get know Jesus the first thing God expects you todo in as much as prayer and fasting are concerned is to have your mind renewed, thus, choose to renew your mind today and you will prosper in the works of your hands (see Romans 12:1-2).
